Another birthday come and gone!

Well, another birthday has come and gone! Mom's birthday card with cash made me dive right into ordering two goodies I wanted....well there was more but I had to pick. The wife may give me some grace to blow a little extra this weekend on a Warlord order and something from the LGS if possible to support them.

I know what you are thinking! What did you order?

I had a coupon for $10 off, so I struck while the time is right. I loved the green mat so this one will go well in my collection. If you don't own one, buy one....they are great! This will be great for regular gaming and use in tournament also.

Did a pre-order on Amazon for this. Been stalking it for months and I figure now is good as I will forget about it and when it arrives it will be a cool surprise in the mail! I looked at the Nickstarter but I could not bring myself to order a book at full price and pay overseas shipping still to get a free fig....meh. The figures they do are amazing in detail, but after some thought they are rather expensive, I may splurge later but I have two plastic cases full of figs and will no doubt hit Black Cat Bases up soon for some extra pirate figs like the English, some sea dogs, the cabin boy and such....I bought some of their earlier stuff and it was great looking and the price is right even for overseas purchase.

I still have my eye on a few other things:
X-Wing the miniatures game....
French Calvary by Crusader
French Foreign Legion by Gorgon Studios with the cool coats....
Order from Bob at Bolt Action Net some French vehicles.
Another company that makes some nice table mats.....

Wow, I need a second job or win the lotto!

  1. Of course, if you had a second job to pay for all the toys then you'd never have the time to use them :-( ...
