Project Z - A new game begins!

About two weeks ago I got my copy of Project Z and dove right in. I wanted to give myself some time to read the rules, think about the models and start scrambling to get scenery done!

The box.

Box contents.

Weapons chart...now updated.  Downloads of updates are on Warlord's site.

The dice.

Punch out tokens.

Bonus dogs - They work with any faction, the unit card included.

The dogs and card.

Special Operations Team

Sprue, cards and rule book specific for this new faction.

Motorbike gang

Sprues and cards,

Zombies!

Sprues and cards. Nothing much changed for the female zombies but the male zombies were slightly updated and looks great!

Need more surviors?

Sprues and cards!

Male Survivors

Sprues with cards.

I plan to cover the game more, talk about the gangs I built up and look at the game as a whole and giving the game a whirl both solo and with friends.

Birthday gifts to me!

Well, good ole Mom came through for me this year again, 43 and a kid at heart she sent me birthday cash to go wild......

My wife let me buy the Black Mask gang as a LGS about 2 hours away is getting into Batman, I've had my eye o this game, while not a huge Batman fan, I do love the bad guys and now that the Arrow and Watchmen have stepped into the lineup I am more interested. The rules seem improved and the game is growing. The models are a love/hate. It was pure luck that I found these on sale at dirt cheap prices making my entry into Batman somewhat cheap.

Deadshot my favorite DC baddie. Suicide Squad was my favorite comic!

Black Mask Thugs found these boys at a nice 50% off.

Mr Freeze

Reaper Catus Joe to go with my Ape gang for Judge Dredd. A cheap figure but I always wanted him.

Side by side to some Judge Dredd

I also was suckered into a deal with the Soviet Army, My Finnish army was getting lonely!

Japanese Jeep with MG....another will appear in my army soon!

I was also tempted by a sweet deal on 4Ground furniture and opted to test drive 10 packs.

Love my mom, so the next step is to start selling more 40k and clear out my Fantasy Undead. I have a pending buy to get some Pulp City that has been on hold and is my next expenditure to get then move on with some more scenery I hope!

About time! Warlord releasing WW2 Senegalese Tirailleurs

Yep, Warlord dropped a 12 days of Christmas teaser saying there is a run of new French goodness which to me this has been one of the long overdue! Nobody made Senegalese Tirailleurs and I for one have been starving for them to enter my French Army, I was so desperate I was about to order WW1 figs to use! Now instead I get a cool boxed set with an SMG, LMG and Grenade Launcher! Whoo!

Can't wait to order two packs! Looks like 10 to a box based on the images shown...images are from Warlord Games!

Product Review: Warlord Factory Set, Produce Set, Warehouse 1 and 2

The loot!

Factory 1 Bag weighs 1.21 pounds! (all resin)

Warehouse 1, right at .55 pounds! (all resin)

Warehouse 2 set, .26 pounds  (metal and resin)

Food Set weighs .22 (all metal)

Wire and wooden spools.

My worst complaint, the vent for the resin was a bad cast here.
Word of advice, clip down the middle and work your way in.
Clip a little each time, otherwise you will crack the resin like I did.
(had to fix mine with glue)

Pipe set, very heavy and nice!

Pile of lumber!

Wire spooled up

Another lumber stack

More pipes...

Crates from Warhouse 1

More from 1

Another batch!

And the last from 1

Metal boxes from Warehouse 2

Resin from Warehouse 2

Produce set (should have been Produce and Sea Food)

Baskets of goodies!

Crates of goodies

Fish!

More fish and veggies!

About to start painting these up so look for finished photos soon!

Overall, each set is nice and works for many different games and times. For me this works for Super Heroes, Bolt Action, Strange Aeons, Old West and Pirates as well as Wasteland gaming.

Factory Set: Expensive, but you get a great deal of product for your buck. The only complaint I had is the tabs on the wire spools. The other stuff cleaned up with little to no effort. 4 out of 5

Warehouse 1 Set: The second most expensive, but again tons of stuff for your money. A good buy. Easy to clean up. 4 out of 5 here,

Warehouse 2 Set: The metal mix is a bit odd, but the set is cheaper and nice. Not as highly recommended as the other set. 3 out of 5 here. Mainly due to metal and resin mixed and not as much cool stuff in this one.

Produce Set: Inexpensive, nice eye candy for the table when painted up. Easy to clean up and I am looking forward to this. 5 out of 5.
