Post Apoc Miniatures KS almost over! Get in on it if you have not!

From the post-apocalyptic wastelands, these 10 ganger miniatures will terrorize any survivors and add some personality to your games.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brigadegames/28mm-post-apocalyptic-wastelanders-and-survivors/description

Well, I was early in and not disappointed. Looking forward to these babies hitting my mail box. The only regret I have is not enough cash to keep pledging for more goodies. Oh well, I will pick up more on the back end when the backer kit hits....

They just added a cool series of mutants which is what I was hoping would crop up soon and at the prices they are at, I am good to go!

Join in and walk the Wasteland!

Reaper Bones Kickstarter Rewards showed!

Well, I got a small package today with my pitiful order from Reaper from their latest Kickstarter. It just contained two paint sets and the gelatinous cube with the slimes. A sad haul from the first one, but the second round was just too damm expensive on the packs that they offered and they crammed a bunch of crap into some that really made me not want to pop the cash. I wish they had gone to smaller packs like last time it would have made for some better sales from me perhaps. I was in a tight on cash, so there wasn't much room to free spend anyway. I hope they don't repeat the same methods they did in the last KS.....

Finns Wave 2 Arrived!

My second wave of Finns from my Baker Company Kickstarter pledge arrived last week. Been a bit busy so finally had a moment to chat about them! Overall, everything is great, got an extra engineer and was shorted a few Model Chander (the civilian militia) figs and some SMGs was missing, nothing huge or earth shattering. Great stuff to the new items, some things was hit and miss on some figs and some had some rough casting around the bases that required me to do a bit more work than usual. Still, for the price I can't bitch in the least and happy with my choice to back Gav and his company. They have done well despite setbacks on the casting and some sculpting delays, yet as a small company they in my eyes are doing a great job.

My box and packing slip, like a kid I tore right into the box!

Extra rifle squads.

More rifle squads...

My few MC that showed! Don't worry boys more are on the way!

Pile of SMGs!

The work tray! Already down the center the Fins work in between the Germans and French!
I'll do some good shots of my Finns as I paint them up!

Kickstarter Watch: Bunnies Vs Zombies!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/510580564/bunnies-vs-zombies

I love the concept of this game, wacky and funny. Plus they have apparently got most of the product concept together and ready to roll. Sure May 2015 is the run, but I suspect that is an overage to ensure they meet their delivery early.

I am looking at this one with a serious eye....

A tough call: To back or not to back!

Having a tough time here....$178 (with US conversion) could get me a 10 section gladiator arena. I have been wanting something like this for ages....I really like the concept but this is a huge wad of cash to drop also....plus I would have to talk the wife into this for my birthday....technically it would be $148 as I have $30 of unspent hobby money....and there has been some gladiator models in a storage box waiting for an excuse to paint up....plus I could use this for some weird crossover game for Supersystem...never know...still on the other side I could really get more gaming mats or figures which is practical also.

A tough call, looks like a good possible investment choice....the idea they are a new company on KS but they seem to have Ebay presence and their own company website, plus they was upfront about issues they had which it seems they have addressed.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hurlbat/28mm-modular-gladiator-arena-and-accessories

What do you think? I always had a thing for sweaty half naked armored men chasing one another around an arena with swords try to kill one another....

Crossover Miniatures: Robo-Girl Arrives!

Rusti has delivered A+ customer service. It appears Robo-Girl was off fighting crime and missed the dispatch to my house last week. So, I snapped a few pics of the lovely lady of metal....WOW! I have to say this again, the greens did not do it justice or show the other heads....

Full body

Human looking head. Could be painted human or robotic.

The Iron Man type head like the Robot Minions have,

The Cyborg style head....my favorite!

Crossover Kickstarter 3 Figures Arrived!

So, my figures arrived on Friday, took me a few days to sort them as I was doing other things with the wife doing errands and such.

Many people didn't invest because they didn't "like" the greens they saw and didn't think they was worth it. Wow, they was wrong IMO, there was a great bit of hidden gems once the figs was in my hands and VERY nice. The mold lines was almost nothing, the worst was the robots I selected for one of my henchmen hordes. They cleaned up quickly and nicely!

I tried to snap some good shots of the figures and head options, my camera is not the top of the line but I think gets the job done!

Flexi-Man went together well enough, a little filler around the join is needed but not much work,
I love figs that have this power, adds character.

I went with this head, reminded me of Shape from Squadron Supreme one of my favorite super teams and great series including the graphic novels.

I call this the Mr Fantastic like head.

Hard to see the detail on this one but a cover over the face but the mouth.

Dread the main head you see

Deathpool type mask,

Spider man like mask,

Moon Knight type head.

Ski mask head

A weird Bat-Man like head,

Dangeress

another

Full face mask,

Dr. Mantic love the crome dome!

goggles may make it into Strange Aeons, could even make a great mad scientist in the game.

The other one had a pony tail which the greens did not show.

Blue Flair with my favorite of the heads, a very petite fig compared to the others but I like that as humans are all shapes and sizes in real life.

Another

Another head

Seraphim with the bird helm,

Angel (X-Men) style head,

Hawkman style head

Calgon the Destroyer one head option.

I can't stop thinking about this every time I see the name..

another head

And another

The Caped Defender...this is the head we saw.

Not sure why the image shifted when I posted it here. Grrr...
I love this one as it is an alien style head almost like the Leader and Synestro had a love child.

And Cyclops after he tried a bottle of AfroSheen

Cyber dog

Cyber Kitty!

Now we will crossover some heads from other figs!

The  Trapjaw Head from Everest

Fabio head on the Caped Defender

I went with this one! Looked too sharp to say no!

Loved this head so much I used it. Not to decide if I want him to be
Backstab - Assassin that can turn invisible or density decrease,
Bypass - Thief that can decrease density.

Bald head with mask on the Caped Defender

Another random head.

Masked face over Dredd.
